This is the first muslin for the second jacket of the JAM, which as you can see is waaaay too small.
This is the stage we like to call DENIAL, where you’re tugging and pulling on the muslin and muttering under your breath over and over again, “I am NOT the size the pattern says. I am NOT the size the pattern says.”
Then you look over at the fabric and the picture on the pattern and you think about the wonderful “fitted” garment you can make if you just get over yourself and that number on the pattern. So you snatch off the muslin and cut the bigger size.
Do you do this too – cut the size you “think” you are instead of what your measurements tell you? Or is it just me? LOL
